Much of the airport operations are behind the scenes – as they should be. We have a new operations center now within the existing QAIA which has brought together operations that were previously scattered between 4 or 5 areas of the airport - bringing them together means that we have improved crisis and issue management.

There are long-term and short-term car parks. The long term car park accommodates 680 car parking spaces and is guarded 24/7 by security staff and CCTV cameras. Friends and family collecting or dropping off travelers are encouraged to use the short-term parking areas to prevent congestion on the curbside.
