AIG Holds Staff lunch Introducing the New CEO

AIG hosted a staff lunch last week at QAIA introducing Curtis Grad, AIG’s new CEO, where more than 250 employees attended the lunch in addition to senior Airport officials.

“Such activities are always an opportunity to live and share our values as a team and a corporate,” said Curtis Grad, CEO of AIG.  

Mr. Grad also added “AIG’s team is welcoming, highly competitive, and long experienced. I am proud to join such a persistent team and contribute in QAIA’s development project which will mark a new era for Jordan’s aviation industry.”   

Mr. Grad joined the AIG team after two years at Larnaca International Airport, Cyprus where he held the role of General Manager, under a similar public-private-partnership, build-operate-transfer concession with the Republic of Cyprus.   Prior to Cyprus, Curtis was the Vice President of Operations at the Sangster International Airport, Montego Bay, Jamaica from 2003 – 2006; and from 1999 to 2002 as Airport General Manager of Abbotsford International Airport, British Columbia, Canada.

AIG’s is a Jordanian company with private shareholding by Abu Dhabi Investment Company (UAE), Noor Financial Investment Company (Kuwait), Edgo Group (Jordan), Joannou & Paraskevaides (Overseas) Limited (Cyprus), J&P-Avax (Greece) and Aéroports de Paris Management (France).
