Who is Airport International Group?

Airport International Group (AIG) is the strategic Jordanian investor in charge of operating, maintaining and rehabilitating Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA). AIG’s private shareholders include Abu Dhabi Investment Company (UAE), Noor Financial Investment Company (Kuwait), Edgo Group (Jordan), Joannou & Paraskevaides (Overseas) Limited (Cyprus), J&P-Avax (Greece) and Aéroports de Paris Management (France).

What has been accomplished at QAIA, and what changes can travelers expect to see?

QAIA is now operating a new, state-of-the-art terminal featuring brand new facilities, equipment and services.

How was QAIA’s traffic performance in 2012?

Year-to-date passenger traffic (PAX) from January to the end of November 2012 went up by 15.3% to stand at 5,808,760 PAX in comparison to the 5,036,776 PAX recorded for the same period in 2011. Meanwhile, year-to-date aircraft movements (ACM) till November 2012 reached 62,025 ACM, up 6.3% over the same period last year.

Where can I find my flight number, time and status?

Flight information is displayed on the flight monitors located in the ticketing areas at the airport. You can also check your flight information online

Does QAIA receive charter traffic from Europe? If so, what time of year and from where?

Do you offer any reductions or incentives for market entrants?

Our route development strategy is focused on cooperative marketing to ensure route viability and sustainability. As part of our partnership with the Jordan Tourism Board to promote markets, we can set up a three-way meeting to further explore opportunities for collaboration.
