Much of the airport operations are behind the scenes – as they should be. We have a new operations center now within the existing QAIA which has brought together operations that were previously scattered between 4 or 5 areas of the airport - bringing them together means that we have improved crisis and issue management.

- Growing relationships with all stakeholders – with buy-in at all levels
- Deep cleansed customer areas
- Improved customer flows
- Planned and ready to introduce new baggage handling system – intro of new IT systems
- Enhanced services for car parking, valet, catering services
- New carriers committed to Jordan –Bahrain Airlines, Delta Airlines, National Airlines, Austrian and Blue Panorama
- Carrier extending services – Air France, Emirates, bmi
- Provisions in place to accommodate construction of new terminals
- New terminals:
- Master plan approved and now being put in place
- Main contractors appointed and on site
- Footplates of terminals emerging from the ground; base foundations completed
