As transportation from airports poses a nuisance to travel-weary passengers, QAIA has taken the extra step of making an Airport Taxi service available at the airport around the clock. Offering speedy, secure, comfortable and reasonably-priced transport services to any location in Amman, the service is ideal for passengers who have not made any prior transportation arrangements upon their arrival. Taxi fares are fixed by law through the Jordan Transport Organization Council and the prices are displayed near the designated taxi park at the airport’s terminals.

QAIA is served by five car parking facilities, four short term car parks located in close proximity to Terminals 1 and 2 and one long term car park located on the access road, providing a shuttle service to the terminals every 10 minutes.
Rental offices are located in the Arrivals areas of both terminals and are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Hajj and Omrah travelers often endure a long and arduous journey on their pilgrimages, which is why QAIA has created a convenient stopping station for them where they can rest and rejuvenate. QAIA provides special rooms designed specifically with the comfort of Hajj and Omrah travelers in mind, each fitted with all the necessary amenities to ensure traveler comfort. Additionally, in cooperation with the Jordanian Ministry of Awqaf, qualified representatives are present to provide travelers with information regarding their journeys.
For general passenger inquiries and to facilitate all procedures in cooperation with authorities and companies operating at the airport there is an information desk available 24 hours a day 7 days a week at both terminals.

A primary medical care center is located at Terminal 2. The center is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and provides First Aid and Emergency services in addition to controlling public health matters. All major cellular phone operators in the Kingdom – Orange, Zain and Umniah – have set up branches at QAIA, providing both residents and visitors of Jordan with a wide range of mobile telecom services to facilitate their travel experience.

Airport pharmacy sells a wide variety of prescribed and over the shelf drugs. Airport pharmacy is located at the departure hall in terminal 1.
For the additional convenience of our passengers and visitors, QAIA has set up a selection of kiosks at the ground floor each terminal to address their last minute needs. These kiosks offer a rich section of travel necessities, from soft drinks, magazines and prepaid phone cards to gifts, toys and flowers.
QAIA has a designated a special team to provide service and support to passengers with any special needs. The team comprises of a group of highly qualified experts to accommodate patients and individuals with disabilities.
Government Services
The airport is equipped with a comprehensive Civil Defense Center, capable of providing First Aid, Rescue and Fire Fighting in addition to self protection and support for all construction and public utilities at the airport.

With customs inspection and declaration being a universal concern for travelers, the General Customs Department at QAIA expends considerable effort toward facilitating the process for our passengers. By minimizing both red tape and incremental delays, the department ensures a consistently smooth passage of goods around the clock, in addition to setting up operational offices to provide fully automated services to couriers operating at the airport, including Aramex, FedEx, DHL, UPS, TNT and SKY NET. QAIA’s Passport and Visa Services Centre was conceived with the idea of minimal bureaucracy and smooth operation. The Centre is manned by a team of highly qualified individuals and is equipped with the latest technology to ensure smooth passenger traffic within the airport. For extra convenience of our busier passengers and visitors, a designated postal service is available at QAIA, located on the ground floor of Terminal (1) between the arrival and departure halls. The service allows passengers and visitors to conveniently send mail parcels to and from any location in the Kingdom. Post office boxes are also available for rent for temporary use by passengers staying for longer durations. These mailboxes are located at the transit areas in both terminals. Additionally, an international mail service is available at the Cargo Station.
The airport’s post office offers its services from 8:00 am till 8:00 pm.
The Safety and Security Service Department at QAIA safeguard and protect the airport, the planes as well as visitors and passengers from the entrance to the boarding gate and vice versa.
Qualified Jordanian expatriates and foreigners can receive tax refund on goods and services purchased within the last three months as shown on the receipt, provided that their residency in Jordan has not exceeded six months. The purchase invoice should be a minimum of JD 365. The Tax Return Office is located in the inner departure hall of both terminals. The Tourist Police Department is responsible for the security of tourists visiting Jordan and provides them with all the facilities and services required during their stay. Tourists can experience the security this service offers through the allocation of a dedicated member of staff who would accompany individual tourist groups. The group must consist of a minimum of ten tourists and would receive this service from the beginning and until the end of their visit in Jordan.
