It is with great pleasure that we welcome you to the website of Airport International Group (AIG). The website was designed to keep our visitors informed of the development and progress in the Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) and its far-reaching expansion project. The content presented in these pages is continually being updated and developed.

With the economic growth that Jordan is witnessing, a profound vision and careful planning is essential to fulfill the rapidly evolving demands of a vibrant and dynamic nation. The Jordanian Government has taken significant steps to restructure the transportation sector in the Kingdom, particularly its civil aviation industry to meet the rapid increase in travelers as Jordan now is growingly becoming a regional hub for passengers and airlines from around the world.

AIG is a Jordanian consortium of companies which has gathered regional investors and international experts in construction and airport operations to fulfill its mandate as granted by the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan: to manage and redevelop Jordan’s premier gateway under a 25-year Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) concession.

The redevelopment of QAIA is well underway, with a landmark US$800m private-sector investment that will deliver a modern and spacious terminal with cutting-edge design and technologies, securing Jordan’s role as an unparalleled global hub. Through our ongoing development programs, the new terminal will be a State-of-the-Art building that will offer passengers a unique travel experience through the facilities and service dedicated to ensure customer satisfaction.

So far, we have crossed several major construction milestones and the airport's visitors can visibly see the new terminal building taking shape beautifully at the heart of QAIA. Additionally, several clusters of our operations within the existing terminals have also undergone extensive investment and upgrading, particularly in our commercial zones, where food and beverage outlets, retail shops, banking, newsstands and pharmacy services have witnessed a remarkable makeover.

We are eagerly awaiting the start of this new era in QAIA’s longstanding legacy, and we are more than committed to maintaining this remarkable streak of achievements and achieve our vision towards developing QAIA to become the airport of choice in the region, building strong global connections for Jordan and serving as a source of prosperity and pride for all Jordanians.
